In 1997 my Worcester Polytechnic Institute roommates and I
discovered a security hole in Internet Explorer 3.
After trying, and failing, to contact Microsoft directly
I published our findings on my website cybersnot.com.
Soon after discovering this bug I went to work
at Microsoft as a development engineer.
